Our practice complies to the 'Data Protection Act 1998' and conforms to the NHS code of practice.

GP earnings

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patient at each practice.

The average pay for GPs working in Hornspit Medical Centre for the financial year 2021/2022 was £53,224 before tax and National Insurance.

This is for 5 part time GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months.

Information Sharing

Hornspit Medical Centre complies with Data Protection and Access to Medical Records 
legislation. Identifiable information about you will only be shared with others if 
we have a duty of care to yourself or those around you. This normally requires 
your consent. Please refer to GDPR section of our website

Expect patient information can also be used at local and national level to help 
the Health Board and Government plan services e.g. for diabetic care. If you do 
not wish anonymous information about you to be used in such a way, please let 
us know.

If you would like to access your medical records this is possible by sending a 
written request to the practice. There is an administrative fee for this process. 

Patient Rights And Responsibilities

By becoming a patient here at Hornspit Medical Centre we require you to follow 
our practice policies and procedures.

If you cannot attend your appointment we ask that this is cancelled in advance as soon as possible, this is to avoid wastage of services.

Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment.

If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment you will be asked to rebook.
